Jabal, or mountain, Shams is very impressive, not only when driving up, but also from the above. The view is tremendous, and the view into the various gorges is very impressive. At the top of Jabal Shams, we hike the famous Balcony Walk above Wadi Nakhr. Fear of heights is not recommended! To explore the mountain from below, we drive with Ernstli through Wadi Ghul into Wadi Nakhr. This quad ride brings us closer to our favorite wadi in Oman. We are simply overwhelmed.
