The drive through Turkey was a race against time as we were worried that the passes in eastern Turkey might already be covered in snow. The majority of the Mediterranean coast in Turkey is also completely blighted with tourist ghettos. The roads are intensively maintained but are still partly in a bad condition because the traffic volume is extremely high. We drove 2,425km over 12 days. Maximum height 2,204 m.
