First, we drive through the Argentinean pampa from east to west. The landscape itself is rather boring, but exciting are the masses of water on the loam roads after a heavy rain. After the pampas the Sierra San Luis is a rest for the eyes and an effort for the driver. The serpentine road is very good for bicycling, for motorcycling though it is already nearly too narrow. We drove it with Globi. It was not really comfortable – but the view from the pass is sensational.
