After missing the Toro Toro National Park, the village of Yamparez and the well-known highland towns of Sucre and Potosi, we leave Bolivia via Ruta 28. We find out, in the truest sense of the word, that Bolivia doesn’t just have the Camino de la Muerte to offer as a dangerous road. Some mountain roads can be quite strenuous. On our farewell trip in Bolivia, the Ruta 28 once again shows off all the beauty that Bolivia has to offer. We left this beautiful country very reluctantly, almost with a heavy heart. Bolivia, you gave us a lot of happiness and also challenged us a little.
