Not all Hippos of the Liwonde Nationalpark liked us. Being in a little canoe, this act of aggression can be very impressive. We spent many days at the lake of Malawi. One day we therefore could watch the visit of the Australian host team of the commonwealth games – the Queen’s Baton Relay. The local Malawian team created an event with a lot of shows and fun. We were definitely lucky to be there at the right time.
