The expectation to see wild life in their natural environment in Africa had become true in Botswana as well of course. Once we had the chance to spend 24 h with the hippos, who completely ignored us, and once we spend a night a waterhole with loads and loads of elephants. The cow elephant leader did proof us with some aggressive postures, but decided then that we are ok despite our size. And thanks to the tire we could spend an afternoon and evening with the big family of that cattle post. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the way they live.
