Beginning 2017 we travelled mainly through the north of Botswana. We took our time to tour around the Okavango delta. The country itself is quite flat without any big changes in the landscape. The huge salt pans cannot be crossed during the rainy season and the well-known national parks are definitely not affordable for self-drivers with big cars.
